Meet the Property Portfolio Software Team
Amer Siddiq - Managing Director

Property Portfolio Software was founded by Amer Siddiq, a UK landlord, author and serial entrepreneur in 2007.

Amer began investing in property in 1999. Prior to this, he designed specialised, custom solutions for retail companies. He spent several years travelling the world, designing easy to use software and powerful solutions for some of the biggest retailers in the world.

When Amer began to grow his own portfolio, he naturally looked around for a software solution to help him with the task of property management. He quickly realised that there was nothing suitable available and so designed his own tool based on his personal experiences and needs.

His aim was to design a solution to overcome the five biggest property management challenges faced by landlords with growing portfolios:

Getting better organised: cutting the time spent handling paperwork
Staying legal: Keeping track of safety certificates and legal documents
Tenant management: Making sure tenants get the information they need
Income tax management: Knowing what is due and when
Maintaining and growing a positive cash-flow

In recent years the software has grown from strength to strength and was won multiple awards, including best ‘software’ for three years running (2010-2013) at the prestigious Landlord and Letting Awards.

The increasing user base and our dedicated focus groups have helped us to continue our growth story as the software continues to be ‘designed by landlords for landlords’.

Emmeline Jarvis – Sales and Business Development Manager

Emmeline has been working with Amer since the launch of the business and has been an integral part of the success to date. Emmeline is responsible for all sales related matters and works closely with the team to make sure our customer feedback and business/technical development partners continue to proactively work together to take the software to new heights.

Susan Dyson – Support Manager

Sue joined the team a couple years ago and now heads up the Support Department. Providing a 1st class service is a key ingredient for our success and we’re delighted that this was recognised at the prestigious Landlord and Letting Awards where we won the coveted ‘Customer Service’ award in 2011-2012. Sue is always the primary port of call for all our functional software queries.

Angel Draganov – Technical Development Manager

Angel is a true technical guru and has taken the lead role in developing the software since 2008. As the software continues to rapidly evolve, he takes our customers’ requirements and turns them into easy to use, elegant solutions with his team. One of the biggest compliments we receive from our customers is the ease of use which is testimony to the solutions implemented by Angel and his team.

Arthur Weller - Tax Adviser (CTA)

Arthur Weller is a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) who operates his own tax consultancy. He is known throughout the tax industry for his ability to resolve the most complex of tax issues and has over 10 years experience in this field. Arthur has provided the technical tax expertise for the Landlords Property Manager software.

Arthur works mainly in an advisory capacity for accountants, in all areas of taxation, and he runs a telephone helpline, giving phone advice on all areas of tax to accountants around the country. Arthur has contributed heavily to a number of the products available through the property tax portal.
